Mixed Experience at Centrally Located Hotel

The room I received differed from my expectations. I had anticipated a more comfortable environment it was on the first floor near an alley. I experienced considerable noise due to lack of soundproofing the noise was really loud. Hallway sounds and plumbing noises from neighboring rooms were very disruptive it made sleeping difficult.

The location is superb. Every tourist attraction is within WALKING distance. Breakfast was good. The staff was professional! I will come back when I visit, that is SURE.
I noticed thin walls, so I could hear water and showers from adjacent rooms. The hallway noise was also loud. The doors lack proper sound proofing, this IS a fact.

The hotel management acted immediately when I asked for a larger room instead of a view! All the staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast includes many selections and all was delicious. Patrick was helpful during my checkout. He provided a smooth departure.
I heard noises from other rooms. Soundproofing on doors is very poor.

empty minibarweak air conditioning
i booked a classic double or twin room. upon arrival, i discovered the minibar was empty. it should have had at least water. the air conditioning barely cooled the room. i reported it, but nothing changed . i expected better for the price i paid.

The location was excellent, and breakfast was decent. the room was not ideal. I stayed on the first floor in a corner room. Noise from outside and the alley was constant. There seemed to be no soundproofing in the room or the doors. It was difficult to sleep.

The staff was pleasant. Patrick provided help with local sights on the first day. He also arranged a car for the airport transfer at the end of my stay! The bar area provided a relaxing place for a drink, and the staff was always accommodating.
I experienced some noise . The thin walls allowed sounds from the hallway and adjacent rooms to be heard. This made it difficult to sleep well.
